ABUJA- THE state of insecurity in the country occasioned by Boko Haram insurgents, bandits and of course Fulani herdsmen may become heightened with the revelation that some members of a dreaded Fethulah Terrorist Organization FETO had infiltrated into the country.
This was revealed Wednesday in Abuja, the federal capital territory by the visiting Turkish President, Recep Tyyip Erdogan. The President was in Nigeria on a two day working visit to President Muhammadu Buhari with a view to seeking a much more diplomatic tie with the country especially, in the area of jointly tackling the menace of insecurity.

CrimeWorld magazine online reports that the Fetuthulah Terrorist Organization had on July 15, 2016 tried to topple the government of Erdogan in a terrible coup de etat. The terror gang said to be worse than ISWAP and ISIS had in years past, infiltrated countries like India and others; wrecking untold havoc.
Erdogan in a joint press conference with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa through an interpreter informed that FETO had been a thorn in his country’s corporate existence and by extension, his administration adding that the battled against the terror gang had been on-going for the past decades. Aside Nigeria, President Erdogan equally informed that he would be visiting other African countries including Togo and Angola for similar synergy against terrorism and extremism.
He said, “Turkey has been fighting against terrorist organisations for many decades, such as the PKK, PYD, FETO, DASH and other terrorist organizations. The perpetrators of the heinous failed coup of July the 15th, FETO, is still illegally active in Nigeria, and we are continuously sharing our intelligence with the Nigerian interlocutors and authorities. I hope and pray that our Nigerian brothers will forge a closer solidarity in this field with us, the Republic of Turkey.”
The Turkish President who was accompanied by members of his cabinet including, the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Hidayet Bayraktar, the First Lady Emine Erdogan; Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu; Energy and Natural Resources, Minister Fatih Donmez; Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar; Trade Minister, Mehmet Mus thanked his host, President Buhari for the love shown to him and his delegation saying, “The most auspicious results and I would like to thank my distinguished brother, President Buhari, for being such a gracious host for me and for my delegation.”
