ILE-IFE- NIFEMI Ajayi, the woman who turned cannibal who almost bite off a neighbours scrotum during a minor argument has been sent to correstional center pending the determination of her bail application by his defence counsel. The verdict was given by an Ile-Ife Magistrate Court in Osun State presided by Magistrate Olusola Aluko on Monday.
When the incident happened and was reported at the Police, the police charged Nifemi with assault occasioning harm; with the prosecuting Counsel, Police Inspector Sunday Osanyintuyi informing the court that the defendant committed the offence on August 24 at about 8pm at 21 Oke-Soda in Ile Ife.

According to him, the defendant bit her neighbor, Olayera Boluwaji both on his scrotum, stomach and hands, the offence he said contravened the provisions of section 355 of the criminal code, laws of Osun state 2002.
The defendant however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. Her counsel, Phili Fasanmoye made an oral application for bail asking the court to grant his client bail on libral terms. But the magistrate ordered the defence Counsel to file a written application for bail and therefore ordered the remand of the defendant in Ilesa correctional centre while she adjourned till November 15 within which to consider the bail application.
