LAGOS- WHEREAS doctors had confirmed the death Saturday, of founder and General overseer of Synagogue Church of All Nation SCOAN Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua simply known as TB Joshua, not a few of his parishioners and believers still insist that the fiery preacher who they refer to as ‘Daddy’ was only in deep slumber. Their insistence came even as the widow, Mrs Evelyn took to her verified Tweeter (now banned) handle to narrate her husband’s last moment on earth. Messrs James Chimezie, Olaitan Peters, Chris Fiakpa and Goodluck Wisdom all members of SCOAN told CrimeWorld magazine online that “Daddy is resting, he hasn’t gone to sit with God in heaven yet. How can anyone say daddy is dead. God forbid. He’s resting and would soon wake up to lead us.” But as hard as it is to believe TB Joshua’s death, other worshipers who have since taken solace in God Almighty informed that the preacher prophesied his death to the congregation; adding, ” Daddy saw his death and even preached about it. During his last sermon on the mountain, he admonished us to “watch and pray, there’s time for everything under the earth but we must watch and pray”. This was his last message and thereafter, excused himself that he would be back soon; and that was it,” said Mummy Anna.
In the meantime, his widow, Evelyn also popularly deferred to as Mama has described her sudden demise as difficult and painful to bear. In her twit @mama_Evelyn, she twitted, “Losing a loved one is never easy; whether sudden or foreseen. It is always heart-breaking. Grief can wreak havoc on our overall well-being. That’s why it’s important to stay rooted to the Almighty. Only He can lessen our heartache and comfort us in these times. Seek refuge in him.”
