CP Edgar moved again as Amiengheme takes over A’Ibom Police Command

*The new CP A’ibom Command…

IN a bid to continually rejig the security architecture and wedge a consistent war against crime and all forms of criminalities in Akwa-Ibom State, the Inspector-General of Police M.A. Adamu has effected a change in the leadership of the state Police Command. In a release signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer CSP N-Nudam K. Fredrick and made available to CrimeWorld, states that CP Amiengheme Inobeme Andrew has been deployed to take over from CP Edgar Imohimi. It was not too clear where Edgar who may bow out soon from the Force had been redeployed to but an unconfirmed source said he was moved to the Force Headquarters and yet to be assigned a Command. CP Edgar was moved from Lagos State to Ogun where barely spent two weeks and was redeployed to Akwa-Ibom for whatever reason and was replaced with CP Kenneth Ebrimson who has bowed out of the Force.  Already, the new Police chief in the state said to be a reputable administrative and operations Officer has since resumed office and reached out to the good people of the state for maximum cooperation to enable him achieve his aim of  fighting crimes to a standstill in the state.

The release reads, “The Akwa Ibom State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu,  has posted a new Commissioner of Police to Akwa Ibom State Police Command. He is CP Amiengheme Inobeme Andrew. The new CP takes over from his predecessor, CP. Imohimi Edgal as the 30th Commissioner of Police deployed to the State.”
