SHOT and arrested by the Police with the assistance of local hunters, the suspected lunatic Lekan Adebisi who stormed Anglican Primary school Agodo in Waterside Local Government Area of Ogun State have blamed frustration for his dastardly act. Lekan had sneaked into the school on Monday March 12, 2018 at about noon when the pupils were on break and hacked two of them Mubaraka Koleosho and Sunday Obituyi to death and fled the scene as soon as his legs could carry him to a nearby forest. But two days after, he was arrested and taken to the hospital for treatment following a gunshot wounds he sustained during his arrest. At the Elewe-Eran headquarters of the Ogun Sate Police Command Abeokuta where Lekan was paraded before newsmen, the penitent looking killer who was incoherent in his speech during interview begged for forgiveness blaming frustration for his action. “I was hungry and had nobody to give me money, when I begged, nobody gives me food. I have no wife, no children. I am frustrated. I dint know that they were human beings,” he slurred like a drunk. But the Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Illiyasu who was visibly angry with the suspect told CrimeWorld that the matter would be thoroughly investigated adding that Lekan would face the full wrath of the law lunatic or not. “The law is no respecter of anybody whether you are a lunatic or not; you have no right to take another person’s life let alone children who were in school and had no hands in whatever is wrong with you. We are going to investigate this matter thoroughly and the suspect would be prosecuted in accordance with the laws of the land.’
