Police, local hunters arrest madman who killed two school pupils in Ogun

THE Police assisted by local hunters in the community have arrested Lekan Adebisi, the suspected madman who stormed Anglican Primary School Agodo in Waterside Local Government Area, Ogun State and hacked down two hapless pupils on Monday afternoon have been arrested by local hunters.  The Pupils, Mubarak Kalesowo and Sunday Obituyi both aged 4 years were on break playing in the premises of the school when they were attacked. The suspect reportedly fled the school moments after he committed the crime and took abode in the nearby forest to evade justice. But local hunters who were piqued by the heinous crime committed by Lekan whose mental condition could not be totally determined took to the forest in search of him. CrimeWorld was told that he was spotted Wednesday afternoon taking a nap with a very sharp cutlass with which he committed the crime on Monday, March 12, 2018 beside him.  According to sources, Lekan went wild and launched an attack on the hunters who made move to apprehend him following which the Police was alerted. He was later shot, wounded and taken into custody. The state Police Command’s public relations officer, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi who confirmed the arrest said the suspect has been taken to the hospital for treatment adding that he would later be taken to the psychiatric hospital for examination before he would made to face justice.  In the meantime, the Commissioner of Police CP Ahmed Iliyasu has directed that the matter be transferred to the SCIID Abeokuta for further investigation.
