LAGOS- THE nation would have been thrown into mourning today for mother luck and the expertise of the pilot of Overland aircraft which engine developed fault midair.
The flight reportedly took off from Ilorin and was heading to Lagos with 33 passengers on board and was near Lagos when the Pilot declared an emergency following the discovery of “an unusual high turbine temperature on one of its engines”
But management of the aircraft said not a passenger was hurt adding that the pilot was absolutely professional in landing the aircraft.

. “This occurred in the approach phase of flight and the aircraft landed very safely as the Crew skillfully implemented their standard procedures for such abnormal situations,” the company said in a statement. l 33 passengers remained calm through the process and safely disembarked row by row in accordance with post COVID-19 procedures after the aircraft came to a halt on the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos runway 18 Right. No passenger was hurt in anyway”
