LAGOS- THE formal prosecution of the suspected killer of Super TV Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chindima Ojukwu and her accomplices commenced Tuesday, with the accused persons pleading not guilty to the charges.
Tuesday’s arraignment sources said, followed advice from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Persecution DPP which said the UNILAG Mass Communication undergraduate and her cohorts had case to answer in the gruesome murder of Usifo Ataga whose lifeless body was found on the ground of an Apartment in Lagos Island where he reportedly lodged with the prime suspect.
Chidinma Ojukwu covering her face with a veil, Ugbuchu Chioma (her sister on whose possession an iPhone belonging to the murdered Usifo was found) and one Adedapo Quadiri were brought before Justice Akinsanya of a Lagos High Court sitting in Tafawa Balewa Square on eight count charge of conspiracy to murder and murder of the Super TV boss. But the trios pleaded not guilty to the charges and were ordered to be remanded in prison custody; pending the commencement of the trial proper.
