TWO apparently sex perverse fathers are separately telling the Police in Lagos why they chose to gravitate sexually towards their own daughters. Messrs Addewale Ibitoye and Ashiru Amusat were alleged to have at different times and location in Lagos defiled their daughters, Raliat and Boluwatife; an act defined as sex against nature. Parading the two sex maniac, the Commissioner of Police CP Imohimi Edgal told newsmen that whereas, Adewale Ibitoye 57, started having carnal knowledge of his 14 year daughter at age 8 and later gave her out in marriage to one Moses Okurukpe, Ashiru Amusat 46, was always ravaging her 12 year old daughter’s genitalia like a hungry lion. CrimeWorld investigation revealed that the illicit sex rump between father and daughter came public knowledge after Raliat became pregnant and was taken to a traditional delivery home. According to sources, for more than three days the girl was in an intense labour adding that even after she was delivered of a still birth baby girl, the placenta refused to come out until she started confessing that her father was her first boyfriend stressing that he had been sleeping with her at age 8 prio to her engagement with Mosses. CP Edgal said, “Raliat suffered double jeopardy in the hands of fate in that her father had been sexually abusing her and when he was done with her, he married her off to Mosses Okurukpe who then got her pregnant. The cat was let out of the bag when she became pregnant and was in labour for many days without being able to deliver the baby. She was then taken to a trado-medical home where she confessed that her father had been having sex with her before he forced her into marriage to Okurukpe perhaps to cover his track. This is child marriage; this is sexual abuse and exploitation of the highest order”
But denying the allegation of incest against his daughter, the Epe, Lagos State born bamboo farmer said her daughter was forced to indict him saying she started misbehaving when she got to senior secondary school class adding that it was because there was no money to procure most of the items needed at the trado-medical home to caused the death of the baby. A frail looking Ibitoye said, “My daughter stopped going to school when she got to SS1 and when I asked why she said she was no longer interested in furthering her education. As a father who wants good life for his daughter, I enrolled her with a sewing institute but that again spelt the worst as she would go out for days without returning home. She became wild and I had to let her be. One day she brought Okurukpe home (points at him) that she wants to marry him and I told her that I was not against her marriage intention but that she had to ensure a while and finish her training; that again infuriated the whole thing as she finally relocated to an unknown destination. She later came back home six months after with swollen Tommy and when I asked who was responsible, she said it was Okurukpe. I called the young man and he did not deny it. It was during labour that she confessed that I had warned her not to have sex with any other person since she had gotten engaged with Okurukpe because the young had forewarned against that as a taboo in his place in Delta State. Since the trado-medical home could not deliver her of the baby she was later taken to a hospital where she was induced to deliver the still birth. Raliat is my daughter why should I be that callous to her?”
Narrating his part, Okurukpe said, “Last year, Raliat took me to her father and introduced me to him as her fiancée. Her father told me that she had long stopped going to school but that he had enrolled her with a sewing institute which cost N5,000. He even demanded a refund which I did as would be in-law. After the introduction, she came to my house three consecutive times and we had sex on each occasion. But after some time I was not seeing her again so I want to her father to inquire what mad her stop seeing me but her father said she had packed out of his house to God knows where. He even told me that he was fed up with the girl and that if she was tired wherever she was she would come back home. In January this year, she came to me with about six months pregnancy and said it belongs to me; and when I check the last time we slep together I concluded that the pregnancy belonged to me and registered her for anti-natal.
Continuing, the Ughelli Delta State born Okada rider-cum-farmer said, “Although I hadn’t formalized the marriage rites, I made sure that she got all that she needed as it is the customs in my state but because she had gone wild over time, she could not keep to herself. She had sex with other men even while pregnant against my warning that that was a grave taboo in my place. I love Raliat and so I over looked her promiscuous act; if you see her you wouldn’t know that she is under-0aged because of her stature. My warning against extra-marital affairs came to fore when she wanted to deliver and she confessed that her father had been sleeping with her hence she ran away from home. I believed her because that confession was made at the pint of death. I want the Police to pardon me because I am not denying that I would not marry her, like I said, if you see Raliat, she looks under 20s”
But for 57 year old Ashiru Amusat, the devil and absence of his wife was responsible for his incestuous act with his daughter. He claimed that his wife left him when Boluwatife was a baby adding that she was with her grandmother ever since. He further said his daughter started misbehaving and her grandmother had to return her to me saying one night when it rained, “I was moved to do it with her.” Questioned if he was the first man in his daughter’s life Mr. Amusat screamed, “For where? She had been having sex because I was shocked when I entered her and my thing just went straight down. It is devil’s work.”
