A middle-aged man identified as Lucky Ayosin may spend the rest of his life behind bars in prison custody for putting his own daughter (names withheld) in the family way and shot his son who caught in the act to cover up his despicable act reports say the incident happened sometime in 2015 in Isaba, Ikole Local Government Area of, Ekiti State. My Ayosin was said to have raped his daughter who was as of the time an SS 3 student severally; resulting in an eventual pregnancy and birth of a baby girl. Divorced about 14 years ago, Mr. Ayosin was said to have taken solace in his daughter each time he comes back from work; raping her in succession. But luck ran against him one of the occasions after his son, Ilasanmi Ayosin spotted his dad on top his sister banging away furiously. But to cover up his incestuous act, Mr. Ayosin was said to have grabbed a double barreled gun and fired shots at his son in a bid to kill him adding that he missed target. It was further gathered that Illesanmi later ran as fast as his legs could carry him to report the ugly sight to his mother, (now married to another man) Mrs. Yemisi Bayode who in turn, reported the incident to the Police and Mr. Ayosin was arrested.
CrimeWorld learnt that upon the conclusion of investigation, Mr. Ayosin was arraigned before an Ekiti Magistrate court wherein, the matter was referred to the Directorate of Public Prosecution DPP for advice. Sources said it was based on the DPP advice that Mr. Ayosin was further arraigned at a High Court on November 17, 2017 before Justice John Adeyeye who then after serried of sittings, sentenced him to 10 years in prison after he was found culpable for the attempted murder of his son as well as fathering a baby girl by his own daughter. Sources hinted further that the prosecutor called five witnesses including a certified medical doctor who examined the victim adding that the prosecutor further tendered the medical report, the single barrel gun used for the attempted murder of his son and of course, his personal statement which he made admitting that he fathered a baby by his own daughter stressing that the convict was represented by Mrs. A.T. Baderinwa of the Legal Aid Counsel while Mrs. Kemi of the DPP represented the state.
But a mid drama played out after Justice Adeyeye handed down the 10 year imprisonment (to run concurrently) as the convict went on moral suasion as he was being led out of the court room, begging for forgiveness for a reversal of the verdict and blaming his ex-wife for his woes. “Please my Lord forgive me, it was not my fault, my ex-wife caused it fir me. I was lonely and dejected hence I did what I did. Please forgive me because even my daughter and son have forgiven me…” he cried
